Jeremy Hababou is a French-Israeli pianist and composer born in 1989. His compositions are marked by pure, sometimes minimalist melodies, reflecting an aesthetic deeply rooted in his personality. Travel is a common thread in his musical and personal journey, a testament to a permanent need to share, to exchange feelings and emotions.

After studying with pianist Omri Mor, he joined the prestigious Center for Jazz Studies in Tel Aviv, mentored by renowned bassist Avishai Cohen. Jeremy then immersed himself in the new wave of Israeli jazz. However, encouraged and solicited by European artists and programmers, he decided to move to Paris to pursue his career.

His debut album Run Away was released in 2016 to immediate critical acclaim. Jeremy then collaborated with André Manoukian on a four-handed piano project presented on the New Morning stage for the first time. In 2018, he released his second album, Nuances, with Eric Legnini as artistic director, affirming his position on the contemporary jazz scene.

At the same time, Jeremy interpreted and composed for the cinema and the theater. Among other projects, he participated in the soundtrack of "Django" directed by Etienne Comar with Reda Kateb and Cécile de France, "La promesse de l'aube" (Romain Gary) directed by Éric Barbier with Pierre Niney and Charlotte Gainsbourg, "L'Empereur de Paris" directed by Jean Francois Richet with Vincent Cassel. In the theater, he set to music readings with Noam Morgensztern of the Comédie Française, Laure Calamy, Nicolas Maury, and Michel Vuillermoz of the Comédie Française.

2020 marks Jeremy's meeting with comedian Gad Elmaleh with whom he established a musical project in tribute to Claude Nougaro, signed to Blue Note / Universal Music France. As pianist, arranger, and co-producer of the album, Jeremy collaborated with prestigious guests such as Ibrahim Maalouf, Bireli Lagrene, Richard Galliano, Angelique Kidjou, Karim Ziad, and Eric Legnini. That same year, Jeremy participated as pianist, actor and additional composer alongside Alexandre Desplat in making the film "Eiffel" directed by Martin Bourboulon with Romain Duris and Emma Mackey.

In 2021, he composed the entire soundtrack of the film "Eugenie Grandet" directed by Marc Dugain.

Currently, he is completing the writing and recording of his new musical project, "Il était une fois" with impressionist and oriental influences. The album will be released on the Naive label and distributed by Believe in early 2023.
